What Is Polyurethane Waterproofing?
Polyurethane (PU) waterproofing coatings are liquid-applied systems that cure to form a tough, flexible, seamless membrane. Unlike sheet membranes, PU coatings bond directly to the substrate and conform to any shape — making them particularly well suited to balconies, terraces, wet rooms and complex roof geometries.
PU systems are single-component (ready to use without mixing) and cold-applied — no specialist equipment or naked flame required. They cure by reacting with atmospheric moisture, forming a durable waterproof coating in hours.
