Liquid roofing systems have transformed flat roof waterproofing over the last two decades. Unlike traditional sheet membranes that are laid and bonded to the substrate, liquid systems are applied as a liquid that cures in place — forming a seamless, fully adhered waterproof membrane with no joints, overlaps or weak points.

Types of Liquid Roofing System
Liquid Rubber HBS200
A water-based liquid rubber coating applied by brush or roller. Cures to form a seamless, highly flexible waterproof membrane. Excellent adhesion to most substrates, low odour and cold applied. Ideal for residential flat roofs, balconies and refurbishment.
Liquid Rubber SprayGrade
A spray-applied liquid rubber system for large-area coverage. Delivers a high-build seamless membrane extremely quickly — ideal for commercial projects and large flat roofs where speed is paramount.
Prokol Monoseal
A single-component polyurethane waterproofing coating providing a tough, flexible waterproof finish. Used on flat roofs, balconies, terraces, wet rooms and car park decks. Good chemical resistance and can be overpainted.
When to Use Liquid Roofing
Liquid roofing systems are particularly well suited to applications where a sheet membrane cannot be easily used — complex roof shapes, areas with pipe penetrations, outlets, upstands and detailing where achieving watertight continuity is challenging with sheet products.
Liquid systems are also the preferred choice for refurbishment — they can be applied directly over sound existing roofing materials, avoiding costly strip-back and reducing waste.
