What Is Composite Fencing?
Composite fencing uses a blend of wood fibre and polymer — the same core technology as composite decking and cladding — to produce a boundary or privacy fence panel that replicates the appearance of timber without any of the maintenance requirements. No painting, staining, treating or pressure washing is needed throughout the service life of the fence.
Unlike timber, composite fencing will not rot, warp or grey over time. It is resistant to moisture, UV and insects. The colour and structural integrity remain consistent from year one through to year 25+. The Ronjack range supplied by Forti Nova uses a slot-in board construction — individual boards slot directly into aluminium or composite post channels, making installation fast and allowing individual boards to be replaced without dismantling the whole fence run.
Composite fencing is increasingly specified for residential garden boundaries, housing developments, commercial landscaping, pool enclosures and holiday park perimeter fencing — anywhere that a long-service, low-maintenance boundary solution is required.

Ronjack Deep Embossed Fencing
10-Year WarrantyThe entry-level composite fencing system. A natural timber-inspired texture in five colours — Silver Ash, Slate, Teak, Chocolate and Caramel. 1820 × 163.5 × 20mm boards, 182 boards per pallet. Compatible with aluminium gate frames in 900×900mm and 1800×900mm. 10-year warranty. Anti-theft bracket system available.
Ronjack Shadow Fencing
Long-Life PerformanceA contemporary shadow-gap profile with a bold black shadow backing that makes board colours pop. Five refined colours — Black, Stone Grey, Walnut, Cedar and Lunar Ash. 1820 × 160 × 20mm boards. Trellis top options in Mirage and Spectre designs. Louvre slat options in 4 configurations (A, B, C, D). Compatible with composite and aluminium posts.
Ronjack UPVC Fencing
Long-Life Foil WrapA foil-wrapped UPVC fencing board using the same automotive-grade foil material found in Hyundai vehicles. Highly resistant to scratches, fading and British weather. Available in Anthracite Grey and Teak. 1820 × 150 × 20mm boards, 10 boards per pack. Compatible with composite and aluminium post systems.
Technical Considerations
Post Options
All Ronjack fencing systems are compatible with composite fence posts, powder-coated aluminium posts and — for the Shadow range — existing concrete posts. Aluminium posts are recommended for longevity and precision alignment.
Slot-In Board Construction
Boards slot directly into post channels rather than being nailed or screwed face-on. This makes installation fast, allows individual boards to be replaced without dismantling the run, and requires no specialist tools.
Panel Height
Standard boards are 1820mm tall. With post extensions and trellis tops (Mirage or Spectre), overall height can be increased for additional privacy or aesthetic interest. Louvre slat options also available.
Gate Compatibility
Deep Embossed and Shadow fencing systems are compatible with Ronjack aluminium gate frames in 900×900mm (pedestrian) and 1800×900mm (double) configurations. Gates include posts, locks, hinges and channel.
Maintenance
Zero annual treatment required. Composite boards will not rot, fade or split under normal UK outdoor conditions. Occasional brush-down with soapy water is sufficient to maintain appearance.
Anti-Theft System
Ronjack supplies an anti-theft bracket system for the Deep Embossed range, preventing individual boards from being lifted out from the top of the post channel — important for commercial and boundary security applications.
