Finished fascia, soffit and gutter detail

Forti Nova roof edge systems

The roof edge is one connected detail.

Fascia, capping, soffit, ventilation, corners, joints and rainwater goods should be selected around the existing structure and measured as one order.

Start with the board role

What does this part of the roof edge need to do?

Replacement, capping and soffit are different decisions. Keeping them separate makes the range easier to navigate.

Measure separately

Three measurements prevent most ordering mistakes.

Do not use one rough perimeter figure for every component. Fascia depth, soffit width and straight-run lengths answer different questions.

Check the measurements
01

Fascia depth

Measure the required board depth at each elevation and box-end detail.

02

Soffit width

Measure the underside separately and confirm the ventilation route.

03

Straight runs

Record every run, corner, joint, return and change in direction.

Replacement vs capping

Do not cover a support problem with a finishing board.

A capping or reveal board may be appropriate only where the retained substrate and support are sound. Full-replacement fascia follows a different route.

Compare the two routes

Ventilation is a design check

A vented board is not the whole ventilation strategy.

The responsible contractor or designer confirms the required airflow, the continuous path and whether a vented soffit is the correct route.

Finish selection

White, black and selected finishes - matched across the order.

The current records show white, black and selected-finish routes. Exact colour availability and matching corners or trims are confirmed before order.
